    Re: Cho memorialized

Trying to make sense of something and being rational is 2 different things. In addition, responsibility for one's actions is another. I don't feel sorry for him...he was not a kid...he was 23...his life sucked because of how he lived it...but that is still no excuse for what he did. And we need to quit making excuses to keep from calling him what he was: A piece of $hit mass murderer.

If not feeling anything for the life that this idiot chose to take (after shattering hundreds of others lives) makes be irrational on this subject (according to you), then it's a cross I'll have to bear. I simply do not have room for sorrow for Cho. I have used all of my sorrow on VT, the victims, their loved ones..etc. The day that I feel anything for Cho will be the day that I give Lee Boyd Malvo a break.

Mostly conservative judges? I think you better check that out. Clinton appointed a slew of them.

    Re: Cho memorialized

where am i calling him a kid?? and im not asking you to feel sorry for the guy, but you're not even recognizing that he lived, had a life, had people who loved him and then he died...no one is asking you to shed a tear, it's a flippin rock for goodness sakes

how can people turn their back on the principles their religion teaches, then turn around and condemn others for their actions?? honestly it's one of the big problems i have with organized religion...either you follow the teachings of Christ and regard EVERY life, EVERY sinner as being precious, or you simply turn your back on it when you so choose, which is every bit as much of a sin as what Cho did in the first place

Dude, if you want to know what I believe look in the religion forum. And if you are looking for me to say "well, I guess I change my mind" it ain't happening. I feel sorry for his family...and the other 32 stones out there are enough to recognize that he ever existed. He was a piece of $hit. I have no sympathy whatsoever for him...and as far as his memory goes..I don't give a $hit about that either. I'm sorry you had to deal and are still having to deal with the consequences of living in the same vicinity as this piece of trash. But my opinion is unchanged...but don't let that get ya all uptight...that's just how I am.

"Again, trace it back to the 60s and 70s. Many of those sitting on the bench grew up then.

The hippies have grown up and are in power. And they haven't forgotten the senseless tripe they spouted over 30 years ago. " The folks from the 60s and 70s were from the LAST generation that didn't grow up with a full welfare program. The people sitting under the tree on the bench are from TODAY.

Are you a true liberal or not? You mention that you don't care, yet the liberal ideology requires that you care; that Cho be extended all the pleasantires offered to all Sharptonites. I think you rely alot of what you've been taught without understanding alot of it.

I rely on my own common sense..i have some liberal views and some conservative views...we all have brains to figure out what views from each side are right or correct...i don't need a political party to tell me what to think.

But by your own confession, you are a liberal. I was just curious .
